Am I getting a fair price for this stone?
What should I expect to pay for a simple plat. solitaire setting?
How about the price on a simple plat.setting with baquettes on each side?

It has a little crystal that you can''t see at all
Great stone with a decent layout.
GIA lab- they are asking $6,900

An SI-1 clarity emerald cut diamond with a tiny crystal that you can't see at all? Is that the only inclusion in the stone? It would have to be a fairly substantial size diamond crystal to warrant the SI-1 clarity grade -or- it would have to be located right in the center of the table facet, in which case it probably is visible to an experienced grader without magnification... Nobody can tell you much about the cut of the diamond without knowing the crown and pavilion measurements, see if the seller can get you the Sarin / OGI results on the stone.

I wouldn't set a K color emerald cut in platinum. Emerald cuts show color very easily and the face up will be slightly yellowish...
