Rockzilla I''m not so sure the lace works for me...but I do like the close fitting silhouettes you''ve chosen.

I can really picture you in the same silhouette but in a soft, pretty silk chiffon. It would drape so beautifully against your frame! Something a little more ethereal I think.

I''ve realized that I just love the lace gowns with sashes like that. You look fantastic in all of them, but especially that one. Now I''m having 2nd thoughts about my dress! I can''t add a sash to it!

I think the A-line with a sash really suits you, but I''d like to see what a sweetheart or a dipped neckline looks like on you, I think it would be really flattering. Just wait, you are going to knock your own socks off when we find you the dress!! You are a very pretty lady! No more putting yourself down about being pear shaped. Your very NICE shaped.

I know what you said about strapless, but you have lovely shoulders and neck and I think you showing it off looks great on you. I think I'd like to see you in this (if you don't like the colored sash thing or the broach, I'm pretty sure they can order it with different colored sashes and without that broach). Sweetheart neck, alencon lace--no beading, organdy (beautiful flowy fabric) skirt with a rippled hem and a sash for waist definition.

Your figure is fabulous, but the dresses are "eh". Underwhelmed by all of them. I do think you should stick with lace, but look for things with a sweetheart or dip at the chest. Not loving the straight across.

Hmm. If you do lace I like number 2 the most with the sash. I love the sash, it add something extra.

i think you are hitting up all of the salons i went to ! lol!

i second gypsy, i'd like to see you in something like what she posted. i think since you feel that you want to minimize your hips, that dress she posted will help to emphasize the top and minimize the bottom so that it will all be more streamlined.

I agree with everyone else and think that you should go with the strapless. I don''t think the straps did anything for you. Sweetheart would be nice to give you extra shape up top. Lace looks nice on you and if that is what you love, go for it! I really like this Jim Hjelm or even this one. You have a great figure and not pear shaped at all!

I''d stick with the lace but definitely try on more dresses. I''m not crazy about any of the dresses that you''ve tried on. You have an amazing figure so get a dress that shows it off.
