"Known to most bloggers on Polygon and PriceScope as "Rockdoc," William R. "Bill" Lieberum, died June 20 at the age of 57."

I was very sad to hear that this great, great and knowledgeable person passed away. I was heart broken.

But for our worst nightmare, we have had so much problems with his family members, especially his AUNT to get back our owned property from her, them.

Mr. Martin Haske has tried every which way he could for this to come to a positive ending, but so far NOTHING!!!

We are severals in the same situation. We are hiring an attorney as a group to petition the court to open an estate for Mr. Lieberum.
Does anyone knows if an estate has been opened so far? Does anyone else is in the same situation?
If so, you can contact me or Mr. Martin to add you up on the list of the VICTIMS.

We do not know if the goods still exist, if they have dissapeared ?? the only thing we know so far is the struggles we have encountered with his relatives.
I have called today the Sheriff department in Boca Raton, the attorney general office, customer service`desk of attorney`s general office of Fort lauderdale, the felany department (because they told me that it was stealing property) and on monday will be contacting the Civil Court of Boca Raton.

So if you know of a positive way for us to recover our goods, know people that had jewelry there, please contact us.

The right place for this thread might be in Hangout (if anywhere). I''m sorry that you''re having problems with his family, but it sounds as though you are taking the correct steps by contacting the authorities...

Carole,

Our hearts go out, not only to those close to Bill but to you experiencing gridlock trying to recover your precious items as well. I know Marty is doing his best to help the family and their counsel understand that other peoples’ possessions are mixed with Bill’s considerable personal collection. It is taking time to sort out and has certainly placed you in an unfortunate situation.

I suspect no one here can offer you anything other than our support and hope for an eventual positive resolution – which we all wish to see. Your best course of action is to stay in contact with the authorities and with Marty, who continues to work patiently with Bill’s family. We hope for the best for you and all affected.

Thank you John,

I know only confort can be given to us. Thanks.

I mainly wanted this topic to have people who did not know what to do if they had goods there too, for all of us to get in contact and be able eventually to petition an opening of estate.
By coincidence today I found a person named Marie on the Internet that also had a bracelet and another item there and did not know how to get it back. So I thought of posting "for others to know" they are not alone and to get in contact with us.

I believe strongly that Mr. Lieberum was a great and honest person as I mentioned in my initial post.
But now he is gone and left us "his clients" unprepared or unprotected for a happening like this. It is really sad.

I guess this will also help people taking jewelry to appraisers to foresee a situation like this prior to leave their jewelry there. It can happen anytime to anyone, death is like this, comes without warnings.

I am again thankful to Mr. Martin for all he has done, but I doubt he can do anything more. He himself wrote an email to me saying so a couple of days ago. He is the one who awared us of "if things were still there, or had dissapeared already" .

So....

No offense, but I think it is extremely responsible of his family to hold off on returning merchandise to clients until they have the estate sorted out. What if it were the other way around, and his family was just handing out the goods to anyone who claimed them? Sounds to me that they aren't looking to try to scam anyone out of what's rightfully theirs...it sounds more like they are trying to protect Rockdoc's good name as well as his personal possessions. It hasn't been that long since his passing.

This is not what is happening. Actually they do not want any estate to be opened.

No offense to those who've posted, but this seems to be one of those topics where speculation by those who aren't involved or can't assist the original poster isn't going to help anything. Again, no offense meant, that's just my opinion.

ETA: Just wanted to clarify that I mean experts and others who have jewelry at RockDoc's estate should of course post, but probably not anyone else, in my opinion.

I agree with luckystar112.

I don''t think the Pricescope community can help you.

You have already gone through all the channels that need be and need to be patient.
