This chart has a size guide for a .50 Princess, bear in mind sizes given are approximate as various factors can affect face up size, but it should give you some idea.

There is a pdf chart available on amazon.com that shows the mm/carat comparison for many diamond shapes, perhaps it'll be useful to you. Just make sure you're viewing it at 100%.

so do you think a center stone of .50carat is small? What about 1.00carat?


Do you think a setting with 2 princess cuts already on it with 12 surrounding stones of VS clarity .50carat for $1149 & a .90carat princess center stone with I color and VS2 for a total of $3151 is a reasonable price or does something not sound right?

Also is a .90 noticeably different from the 1.00carat?

The diamonds likely won''t be of high quality, which means it won''t sparkle as much as high quality (i.e., well cut and graded accurately) diamonds.
