Robbins Brothers - Price Match?

I''ve read a lot of the other posts by people who purchased from Robbins Brothers and got a price match or were able to return the entire ring. I''m wondering what are my chances of doing the same thing? I bought a diamond from them (of course I now realize it was way overpriced!) and a Ritani setting. But since I sent the diamond out to Ritani to get set (in a bezel), this is a special order, and I don''t think I can return it or switch out the diamond. I was told that once a bezel is set, that''s it.

I also read in one post that RB doesn''t price match anymore. Is this true? Do you guys think I have any hope of getting some money back at least?

is there a reason you want to return the ring other that feeling you overpaid for the diamond?

The main thing is overpaying for the diamond. We did get a smaller size than originally planned due to price, but I hate feeling that we overpaid so much!

we recently got our diamond from robins in Philadelphia. we were happy with the price we got however they did advertise their price matching policy so i would think it''s still in effect. this was just about two months ago...

your best option is to just call RB and ask them. no matter what any of us tell you it''s going to up to the store you are working with to make the final call. If you can''t return it, try to not beat yourself up. lots of us have stories of purchases we made before we found pricescope and my guess is you still have a really beautiful ring
