I think it's "rivière" and Lang gives this:

"A rivière is a necklace that is comprised of gemstones of the same species that are all the same size and shape or graduate smoothly in size."

I always believed a rivière / riviera necklace is basically a graduated tennis necklace; but apparently it can also be used to describe a necklace that is all the same size (like a tennis)!
