Hi,

This weekend, I thought I found THE ring, MY ring. But after having it on my finger, I decided that I like it, but don''t love it. Can any of you help me find something that I love? I have attached the Ritani ring that we saw this weekend. Below are the pros and cons.

What I loved about this ring is the pave band and how it gradually got smaller as it moved away from the center stone (graduated band? not exactly cathedral). I just loved the overall sparkle. It also made my big knuckles look not so big.

What I didn''t love was the fact that there was pave on the prongs, pave on the crown of the setting, etc. Just TOO much pave.

Has anyone found a pave band, gradual cathedral setting for a round stone?

If so, please reply. We''ve been looking for about 3 months now and I am getting fatigued.

Thanks so much!

why not see if Ritani can make without the pave?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I was told that the only option that could be done with this ring was to remove the pave from the prongs. Even so, I think that the pave on the sides of the band are a little too much.

Maybe I am being too picky, but it''s hard to know exactly what you will like or get used to for the rest of your life. For me, I can only go on my inital reaction which was that it was a little gaudy.

Thanks again for the reply

You''re not being too picky at all. I''m another one that knows exactly the look that I am after for a particular piece, and nothing else will do. I''ve made some mistakes in getting a ring, bracelet, etc. that is *almost* right, but then when I can''t stop studying how it looks for days on end, I know I will never be happy with it. I can''t help with any pictures, but maybe you could have your perfect ring custom made, right down to the very last detail of what you envision. If you went with WF, I doubt it would cost more than the branded Ritani ring you mentioned with all the pave even on the prongs. From the way it sounds, your design is not all that complicated and would require much less pave than the Ritani, so you might actually SAVE money in going the custom route!
