I found this Ritani at a B&M vendor for half off their retail price. They are offering it to me in platinum for $1400.

Today I looked on James Allen and found these similar settings.

I have a WF .81 ct ACA stone. Do any of you think that I stand to take away a little of the brilliance of the stone by putting it on a setting such as these? What I like about a plane solitaire setting is that when you have an excellent diamond on it, it really stands out.

I relly prefer the Ritani, it''s gorgeous. And that''s a really great price for Plat with pave. I don''t think it will take anything away from your stone, just enhance it imho!

I am going today to purchase the band. Originally I was going to get it set by their jeweler but since the store is closing down I wanted to bring it to someone that I can return to in case we run into a problem with the way the diamond was set. Gonna try to find a good local jeweler I can bring it to and get it set and resized ASAP. May propose late this week if I can get it set!

That Ritani is a classic. It is very pretty especially if the stone is big to bigger.

At 1/2 price, it is a no brainer. Buy it and have some reputable jeweler set it. Or maybe you can have the BM that you''re buying the Ritani from send the setting and diamond to Ritani for setting - and mail back to you?

I just bought the Ritani! It was $1500 and is the 1 in the picture below. I am bringing it to one of the more reputable local B&M''s who said he can set it same day for me.

I had a little bit of buyers remorse for spending $1500 on just a band, but I guess for it being a Ritani and such it is worth it.

The WF ACA stone should look nice in it!
