RIP Rusty cat

as some of you may remember, my Rusty cat was diagnosed with lung cancer 2/25.
the cancer was nasty and spreading fast....faster than i think anyone realized.
he died 333p on monday, march 26 and was cremated 3/27 at 8a.
it was a rough month but there were some very good "highs", too, and i'm glad we had enough time to say our final goodbyes.
he was a very bright light in the household.....it is heartbreaking to watch Spikey cat deal with the loss.
RIP Rusty cat: you live forever in my heart.

Oh no MZ, I'm so very sorry, such a hard thing...I lost my dog last year to cancer, and I still miss him so much but I'll admit that time has lessened the pain...big hugs, hopefully memories of your kitty bring you comfort during this rough time.

i appreciate your support.
attached is a picture i took of Rusty on 2/13/2007 when he was very health.
you can see his red undercoat and hence the name Rusty.
i think i'm still in shock that he is gone.....
