The media is reporting Mr. Burt Reynolds has passed away. The younger generation may not know much about him, but he was a very popular actor back in the 1970's and was widely known. He had an iconic smile. I hope his friends and family can find the comfort they need at this time of sorrow.

Poor guy looked pre-embalmed. RIP

Noooooo, another legend has passed! :(

RIP Bandit.

I’ll always remember him as a hunk in Deliverance and Smokey And The Bandit. I remember him way back in the ‘60’s series Hawk. He and Dom DeLuise were really funny together on talk shows, but he seemed a rather tragic figure later in life. RIP

Ugh. It's been a tough few weeks for icons :cry2:

He’s been looking frail for quite a while.

HI:

I loved him in Boogie Nights. Seemed an apropos role considering his Cosmo spread decades earlier...:P2

cheers--Sharon

My Mom had that Cosmo issue with the centerfold! 1972
I remember me and my sister looking at it as a kid.
He was so sexy back then.

Which one's the slut?

(if you know that reference, you know what the reply is.)

Made some great movies and a lot of terrible movies, but he was macho and a big part of the 70s.. hope his son and family are doing well.. wishing Burt a safe journey to the next level and peace.

As sad as this was, I almost wanted to laugh. Which was wrong, I know. But it was so true. :/

ROTF! I had forgotten that episode of the golden girls. It was funny when all three raised their hands!
