I am looking for an example of an engagament ring with milgrain along the edge of the shank but no engraving. I saw a great example on this site someone posted who wanted a ring with some decoration but not too much, but now cannot seem to find it. If anyone has seen any nice examples please post a link or a pic.

I am currently trying to design an engagement ring and am thinking of using only milgrain or at most a little engraving or pave. I love the look of some smooth polished metal combined with touches of milgrain or engraving. I guess in my mind I am thinking of the looks of silverware or siver napkin holders.

Thanks everyone.

This one was in my "rings I like file" :)

Hi Jazzman
To be perfectly honest, it is possible to put a millgrain edge on almost engagement ring or wedding ring design. First the metal is cast, then the ring mounted, and at this point, a millgrain edge can be put on, with minimal hassle.
