Thanks to all of the advice I''ve recieved! You are all too good to be true when it comes to helping me with my selection. I''ve decided to create a mini-survey for her to look at. Should be fun. If a few of you could take the survey and let me know if it''s ready to go, that''d be great. Hopefully you like Princess Bride. Thanks!

That was very cute! I kinda tired of cutting and pasting, so I stopped after the first few for the settings. I thought the survey was really nice and I''m a big fan of the Princess Bride.

i didn't notice any problems but some of the settings were very very similar (redundant?). it was almost a relief to finally get down to the bluenile solitaires!

Ya, good chance a few would be redundant. I just through the list together from old links I saved.

The round ones are just in case she has a change of heart :-)

I wanted to have a large number so she couldn''t figure out that I had homed in on one or two rings.

did you think of maybe throwing in some totally different styles in as well? that would be a good indicator too. it''s not hard to tell from that list what you honed in on!

i mean, if she''s gonna go through all of that work (it is a lot of work!) the rings may as well be different. you could get a better idea of what she really wanted that way.

Any suggestions on what to mix in? I suppose I do have a fairly limited set of ring styles there.

Looks good. I''ll add a few of those and drop some of the settings that are getting horrible grades.

How small of a list would you recommend? Around 5? 7?

i would take your final settings and add a few more random ones, maybe 7 max?

i mean obviously SHE wants to take the survey since it''s for her ring, but you don''t want to overdose her either.....hehee.
 
the problem with the original list is that there are a couple of styles that are represented repeatedly. i don''t mind the longer list (not toooo long though!) but seeing different representations of the same style doesn''t really leave any room for choices.

also, can you add a question similar to the ''sparkly'' one except about shapes? that way you could be sure on the shape too.
 
Awww...Kaje77 - i didn''t take the survey, but I looked at it and it was soo sweet!!! What a very cute way to get some ideas about what she likes!
