Can you have a ring size 6.5 resized to a 7.5 if it has diamonds going completely around the band? Thanks

That's a pretty big jump. Sometimes they are able to scoop out some of the metal on the inside of the band, but that's usually to make the ring 1/4 size bigger, not a full size. I would doubt it could be done, but I'm sure an expert will jump in here and tell you for sure. It might help if you describe the band. Is it channel set, prong set, etc? Good luck.

No, probably not. The inside of the band may be able to be shaved a bit, but I don''t think a whole size. But I would show it to a jeweler if you want a 100% answer.

i second Demelza. One full size is a lot. You can check with a jeweler to be 100% sure.

is that a tacori? i don''t think they can be sized at all. too much risk to damaging the scalloped sides along with the pave on the top of the band. i wouldn''t risk it. You can always call tacori or a dealer to be sure.

Send it to the maker of the ring, they may be able to swap you for the larger size if the ring is new. That ring will be a nightmare for anyone else to size, although it could possibly be done by adding in a section of plain metal at the bottom, although the likely hood of breaking one or more stones during the sizing is high.

To size it so that it looks as it looks now is very difficult and will cost as much if not much more, than simply going back to the original vendor and paying for the larger finger size in the ring that is made to that size. This is NOT a practical ring to size in my opinion.

I dont know. I just know my finger isnt a 6.5

That looks like a Tacori Rosebud like mine, and Tacori told me they could only
go up 1/4 size, or remake the entire ring, which is really costly.

Thanks everyone for your help. I should have thought about that before I bid on it in an auction online.
