I just recently had my engagement ring sized a quarter size up because I thought it was a tad too small. Now it feels a little loose... ugh. Will it be a little more snug once I wear my wedding band with it?

I think it will. My fingers are really thin where I wear my ering, but then they get a little fatter as you move up the finger. Wearing both together should be fine.

yep- my ring by itself is a little loose (about 1/4- I think), but with another ring stacked, fits pretty good...

Once I added my wedding ring, my e-ring twisted around a lot less. Just as long as it isn''t going to fall off your knuckle. I personally like my rings looser...makes me feel thinner!

Okay, I hope that works! I didn''t want to have to do sizing beads, but it might come to that. My finger size just fluctuates way too much!

Of course it depends on the width of the two rings... my e-ring is 1.9mm and my wedding band is 2mm. I don''t notice a difference in their tightness whether worn alone or together, personally.

That said, the change is likely in your head. 1/4 size is SUCH a teeny difference, if it felt too small before then this is the right size for you.

If you do end up feeling it''s too loose with the band, I''d suggest a sizing pad instead of beads... much more comfortable.

Okay, mine will both be 2mm each. What is a sizing pad... I''ve never heard of that?

I think I might be able to find a picture for you, I will post if I can!

It's just a flat piece of added metal, as opposed to a bulbous bead. So it basically adds a bit of thickness (height, not width) on the inside of a band. Obviously it doesn't work with something like an eternity band with holes on the inside, but if the band is plain it can work!

I only suggest it because a lot of people (including me) find sizing beads IMPOSSIBLY uncomfortable!! The pad would be essentially unnoticeable.

Thank you very much, that''s so kind of you to say!

On a temporary basis, just get a set of tiny eyeglass nose pads from the local drugstore. Install one inside the bottom of your engagement ring and see if it makes it tight enough for a few days. You rfingers may swell and shrink and 1/4 size is not much at all. If the ring remains loose even after the wedding band joins it, then consider soldering them together. They will feel tighter when they are a single unit. You can ALWAYS re-size or premanently pad the interior a tiny bit. The pad inside can be soldered in once both rings are in use.
