Ring sizing options

Hi everyone!

I need advice on what to do about my wedding set. It's just too big. I needed a 5.5 and the set is a 6.5. The problem is that the wedding band and engagement ring are both eternity bands. What is the best alternative to resizing? Is it possible to add gold to the insides or are sizing beads the only option? Has anyone done this? Is it comfortable?

Since it is a full eternity, I would opt for sizing beads.

I agree with Chrono, Sizing beads is the best option for Eternity rings, no other option is good.

What about "a custom-made stainless steel insert ring soldered to the inside base of the ring’s shank?" as described and pictured at http://findmyrock.com/2012/08/12/how-to-properly-obtain-ring-size-engagement-ring/ It might be easier to do if the two rings are also soldered together? (I am not a jeweler, haha.)

TC1987 do you know if it is possible to do that in gold rather then stainless steel?

Some people don't mind the feel at all but I do. My hands are unusually sensitive to wearing anything.
