RING SIZE QUESTION!!!

I just recently found out that my girlfriend''s ring size is 5! I had my sister-in-law ask girlfriend what her size was! Proposal will be total surprise, so I could not get exact size! My question to all is, what size should I actually get? 5, 5.25, or 5.5! I recently purchased a 1.36 D VS2 RB from GOOD OLD GOLD and I am having it set in a MARK MORRELL FLAME! I could have never made my purcase and my decisions if not for PRICESCOPE! I THANK YOU ALL for your responses and for all your help!

uh...if she said five and you have no other information, why would you go with a 5.25 or 5.5? you have no idea if it's less than 5 or more than 5. what difference does it make?

I'd go with a 5 if they said that is what she wears! But that being said, you'll want to triple check if possible because otherwise I would send it back to have sized and that could be a PITA...

Does she have another ring she wears on that finger sometimes that she wouldn't miss that you could send off to GOG or MWM for sizing purposes?
