My e-ring is size 4.75. It fits perfectly on my finger, yet after awhile I have to pull it out a bit to let my finger breath because it starts to feel a bit tight. It goes on and comes off easily but I can always feel it on my finger, which is starting to bother me.

I have a 2nd e-ring (sort of a temporary replacement) that was sized at 4.5. This feels perfectly fine I guess because the setting is very thin.

I have to return the original e-ring to get it fixed for something, should I also have it resized to 5? I''m hesitant because I really like it when the ring stays put and not spin around. Discomfort is minor and this is also summer time so when the weather gets cooler I don''t want the ring to be too large, and my FI thinks I should just keep it as is.

Just being nitpicky and wanting everything to be PERFECT

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. How do you ladies wear your rings?

I think Old Miner (or one of the experts) posted that someone''s finger size can change up to a half size during the day. It''s common that rings will be more snug in the summer and then loose in the winter. It sounds like your ring probably it sized fine. If you can get it off with little discomfort I''d leave it alone.

Size it up and get speedbumps to keep it from spinning? I hate and detest the feeling of a ring being even slightly tight. If you don''t like the feeling of your ring fitting/tight either, I''d size it up.

I wear all my rings a size too large. Some spin, some don''t, depending on the shank etc, but I prefer the spinning to feeling the ring tight in the summer. (If I was less lazy about driving to my jeweler, I''d probably have him put bumps in a couple of my rings.)
