Ring re-sizing

Hello everybody....

I have been amazed to see the wealth of information in these forums. I have been hooked onto it since I chanced upon this site in google...

Its time for me to seek help

...

I need to re-size my engagement ring...actually size it down...i am looking for a jeweller who can do it in the store while I wait...

I live in the silicon valley (CA)....Any suggestions on reputatable jewellers in and around San Jose who can do this in the store will be appreciated.

The ring is sort of a family heirloom and so there is no option of going to the jeweller it was purchased from.

the ring is a 6.5 and need to be sized down to ~5.5.

I am in the UK but noticed your post has slipped down the page. I believe Mara a regular poster here is in that area, I think I have heard her mention Willow Glen Jewellers but not certain maybe you could do a search under Mara and that name.
