ring made special for me

I agree the web page for ringlock.com is very confusing..But when I e-mailed the jeweler,Allan Creates, he was very nice and it really was easy once I got the drift..My ring is so incredible.I need a better picture to capture the beauty..Allan was great to work with.I told him what I wanted and he sketched out a few ideas,,It just couldn''t have been easier..
Because my hands are so knotty with arthritis,my ring has the the hinged band..It is so comfortable,,I wish I had known about this sooner..

My greatest fear was that I would have an auto accident and some emt would have to cut the old ring off..I imagined a swollen finger and blood every where..so I had it stretched and then, I kept fiddling with it because it was so sloppy..Yes, the hinge is wonderful..
I am glad you like the ring,,,

This hinged idea is new to me.. what does it do? Allow you to clasp it on as opposed to sliding?

The ring unlocks (after I press my fingernail in the slot)and then I can pull it open.I like this particular hinge because after I unlock it ,I have to manually open it,,No chance of it falling in the sink..
A local jeweler showed me one he has,,you need a little tool to press a button to unlock it..How inconvenient is that !!??!!
I feel silly getting emotional over a ring,,but this has been such a blessing,,I thought I would never be able to wear my lovely diamond again..
