Ring just in...Thanks to Mark at ERD

It finally arrived today. Looks great in my opinion. Hopefully my gf will like it as well. It''s a total surprise. Mark is a nice guy to work with...gives you options on diamonds, his thoughts without being pushy and his prices are pretty much the best I have seen. My only gripe is that his in house selection of settings is rather small, but he showed me one that I actually liked so it all worked out. I am taking pictures of the ring right now so I could show all of you, but they keep coming out blurry, too much reflection and so on. Thanks to everyone here for all the help. I will post some pics as soon as a I get a good one.

some quick pic taking tips: turn off the flash, put the camera on macro and stand near some type of light.

He is GREAT. I just got my ring from him yesterday and I too am having trouble photographing. Hopefully, I will be able to figure it out soon. I tried it in macro mode, however, my shots still come out blurry. I also had a question for you, given that Mark is highly reputable do you plan on getting another appraisal or just using the one he gave you?

As far as the appraisal goes...I think his is fine. I''m pretty confident in him in all ways. I guess it couldn''t hurt to get a 2nd opinion...I''m just being a little lazy.
