I have just purchased insurance (based on reading posts on here) from Chubb through www.MrRates.com. Please see below for info. I am told that Chubb is like the Rolls Royce of insurance. Jason was super nice to deal with and I could not be happier. Let me know if you have any questions.
I got travelers through my homeowners insurance, and had jewelers mutual before that. Travelers has a cash out policy, like Chubb, which I prefer (for simplicity and flexibility). Travelers was slightly cheaper than Chubb, and both were more than JM. Good luck!
I created a different thread but didn''t get any responses. Do you have the terms of your Travelers policy? With respect to the cash payout, how is it worded? I spoke with Geico today and they couldn''t send me the terms but said that Travelers will pay out cash. Searching through all the old threads there seems to be a discrepancy between whether you can get it right away (if you request it), or if they first will try and replace it with "like kind" and will then pay out with cash if they are unsuccessful.
The exact wording would definitely be helpful. Perhaps you can scan it in. Also if anybody has some real world experiences with Travelers that would be great. Thanks.
