Ring in a Rose....

Ok would like somehow to incorporate a rose into my proposal....I was thinking the ring could be hidden inside... Thats all I''ve really got though... Anybodya able elaborate/brainstorm some interesting ways to go about this??

give her 11 roses and tell her she has to find the 12th one. Hide it somewhere and when she finds it, have the ring tied to it.

OR

Get home before her and have her find a trail of rose petals with a note that says follow the trail. At the end of the trail you could be waiting with the rose and the ring.

Hm, what else...
