Hello everyone.

we are looking to get a men custom made ring made from WF. I am attaching two pictures. We want the swirl style ring with little rose gold plating like shown in the round ring. we are thinking to use ACA melee. what do you guys think if it is worth the price? Possibly thinking 0.5 TCW for 9 ACA melees as my fiancé has 9 stones in total(1 center and 4 small melee on each side).

My finger size is 9.5 and thinking of either 4 or 6mm thickness white gold ring. I don't know if 6mm will be too bulky?

I think ACA melee will be 100000% better than the melee in the Michael Hill inspiration. Their quality is not very high imo, for the NZ stores at least.
Who is making your ring?
WRT width, it depends on how long your fingers are especially the section of finger you'll be wearing your ring on. Can you go into a store and try some different plain mens bands on to get a sense of what width you like?
My husband was sure he wanted a slender wedding band (think 2-4mm) but once he tried them on, he found he preferred the look and feel of a wider band. I'm pretty sure his is 5 or 6mm wide and comfort fit. It's buttery and heavy which he loves.

We are asking whiteflash to make a custom ring with their ACA melee.

I would not get rose gold plating if this is a ring for everyday wear. It will wear off and you'll have to get it redone, possibly frequently. Men are usually harder on their hands than women. If you want a rose gold inset, I would have it be solid rose gold.
