Would it be too out of the ordinary to wear an eternity-style wedding band on my right hand? I personally don''t mind the ''forever engaged'' look. I have a princess cut solitare and I''ve tried pairing it with eternity-style wedding bands and it seems to take away from the the beauty of the simple setting.

If you get one dainty and thin enough itll work wel lwith your e-ring. I personally don''t care for a "no band" look on the left hand. Id say wear your E ring on your right hand.

Not out of the ordinary and they''re your rings, wear them how you like them! If you''re OK with being forever asked when the wedding is and then why you''re not wearing a wedding ring, then go for the RH wband.

I think that in Europe it is common for married couples to wear the band on the right hand.

Just yesterday I saw a lady wearing an e-ring on her left hand and eternity band on her right. Looks just beautiful to me...do what makes you happy!

I''m so stupid -- I''m been on Pricescope since last fall - and I just realized that "E-ring" - means engagement ring! I always thought that''s what you girls called your on-line (like E-mail) rings i.e. Whiteflash, Blue Nile etc.

Gosh!!

I have the exact problem. The eternity looks weird with the princess solitare - can someone post one''s that look good - hand pics would be awesome!

Yes, pics would be great!!

Rube is right--in Germany the wedding band is worn on the right hand. It may be the norm in Austria too. (In France, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and most of the rest of Eastern Europe, the wedding band is worn on the left hand, same as in the states. Not sure about the rest of the EU.)

hi petuniaprincess,

as some others have written already, german couples wear their wedding bands on their right hand. we (both german) are getting married in august in germany and have just decided to both wear our wedding bands on the left hand.

so much for traditions. just do what feels right to both of you!

regards,

In Russia too, it''s the right hand. My mom still wears hers on the right hand even though she''s been here forever. And they don''t do erings there so nothing goes on the left hand. I''ve also seen plenty of women wearing erings alone on their left, and wbands on the right, sometimes it''s stackable bands with different stones. Do whatever makes you happy.

Makes perfect sense to me. There''s e-trade, e-commerce, e-mail, why not e-rings???
