Do they exist? And if so... can you help me find some? I'd really like a pair (especially in a grass green, orange, red, coral, or some other fun color, but I'd settle for black). The less they cost the better, but comfort first.

32 bucks is good. TJ Maxx means I can try them on too. Okay on the list (I do with they were grass green).

I recently purchased these cute espadrille wedges in two colors, black and navy. They're from oldnavy and very comfy, every time I wear them I get compliments. Not sure if they're ridiculously comfortable but I can wear them for hours, though I don't think I'd walk around disney land in them. But they're way cheap.

I'm also tempted by these, however I refuse to spend the money on them since I will probably wear them for 1 maybe 2 seasons.
They're by Tory Burch, the wedge height looks moderate and somewhat comfortable.

all of the espadrille wedges are SO HIGH...I wish they would make some that are not 4"!!

gypsy wishing you luck on your espadrille quest :)

Are you looking for very open, closed toe or peep?

I bought a pair of Geox ones in a neutral/skin tone shade last summer and I LOVE them. I am on my feet all day for work and often sprinting from one area to another and my feet aren't tired at the end of the day, like they are when I wear some other "fashionable shoes"! This year Geox has some really adorable styles too. They aren't cheap, by any means, but worth every penny IMHO.

I like Geox a lot too. Amazon sometimes has them for a good price.

Yup, my last pair are from Amazon and they were discounted because they were the last pair in my size and in that colour! Makes me love them even more!!!

I would love to get a pair of espradrilles, but I cannot wear these 2+" heels (usually more like 3 or 4" high heels).
It seems everything is super flat, or 3"" heel. Where are the cute 1-2" heel shoes?

I ended up ordering these slings. Not quite as cute, but at least I will have something to wear with more summery clothes yet still be able to walk!

Gypsy, these may be over your target budget, but as you mentioned wiggle room on price if comfortable, wanted to give a shout out for these Tory Burch espadrilles. I treated myself to them last year, and they quickly became a frequent go-to because of their unexpectedly high comfort level; this year, they come in... orange!

The foot bed is amply cushy, and the straps have a touch of stretchiness in them so they move with the flex of your feet with each step. Bloomingdales and Nordstrom have them in store as well.

I really love my Lauren by ralph lauren wedges for comfort, no doubt they make espadrilles.

Those Tory Burch ones are pretty fabulous.

I would prefer open toe. Off to look at Geox as I've never heard from them. The real 'espadrille' brand is one I need to check out too. obviously!

What about Target? http://www.target.com/s/espadrille

Some of the most ridiculously comfortable shoes I've gotten have been from Target, which is not to say I've never bought anything uncomfortable from there...

I was at DSW earlier to get some shoes for my hideous bridesmaids dress I have to wear this weekend  and they had a bunch of jute wedges. I think they are just getting their spring/summer styles in and they had a hige selection of styles and sizes. I didn't look in that section, so I don't know if they were, like, *true* espadrilles, but it looked like there were some cute ones! I didn't see anything there over $100.

Alas. I tried on a non-orthopedic shoe of my own, a comfortable merrell sandal with a very small heel of 1 inch and it was like someone was driving long nails through the balls of my feet. Apparently the broken bone is going to be limiting my shoe wearing options this year. Drat it. So... I'm going to have to hold off on anything with any heel, wedge or not for at least another couple months. Ahh well, maybe I'll get pretty wedges next year.

Seriously comfy Toms

gypsy not sure where you are located, but Macy's had a wide variety of espadrilles in addition to the high and very high heels, also low/no heel traditional ones, and mid heel ones. for anyone else looking some cute mid heel ones.

I don't really consider these espadrilles but they are very cute (I want to get them!)

Coming back from a broken foot myself, i've got to say that nothing beats my toe shoes for comfort!

Do they look freaky? YES!
