rhodium plating question

I have a college class ring in white gold that needs to be rhodium plated pretty badly. I''m a little worried about having it done because it has some oxidized areas (like class rings typically do). It''s a woman''s ring, it''s not super detailed, so do I have anything to worry about? Will is cost a lot extra to make the oxidized sections look like new after plating?
