the only thing im a bit worried about is the table % is this too much? can you tell a big difference between a gia cut rating of vg vs a blue nile signature ideal? price is 5300 buget is 5700 w/o setting.

thanks for the help

I've been told that for princesses, the table should be less than the depth. But more concerning to me is the fact that it's substantially off-square, by almost .3mm. That will certainly be noticeable. I'd pass on this one.

ETA: This one looks more promising.

We would need photos of the diamond to help evaluate it, unfortunately we can't tell much by numbers, although generally as jstar mentions, the table being smaller than the depth can be preferable. Do you have a link to the diamond and do you prefer very high clarity?

clarity isnt a concern as long is it is si2 or above looking for size but without going to a bad cut. Trying to shoot for a dim at or above the 6mm mark. http://www.bluenile.com/princess-cut-diamond-1-carat-very-good-cut-i-color-vvs2-clarity_LD01271428?__fun_frm=i&filter_id=0#grading_report
