Resume Question

I am planning to mail my resume to a potential employer. Would it be tacky if the paper did not match the envelope? I have nice paper that I always use for resumes, but I only have plain white business envelopes. Should I go out and buy matching envelopes?

My guess? Is that it''s not an issue. Probably, a secretary or administrator will get the envelope and open it, then give only the contents to the employer. At least, that''s how it''s worked with mail everywhere I''ve ever worked.

But if it''s going to worry you, get the matching envelopes.

Personally, I would get the matching envelopes.

Mind you, I notice things like that - most people aren''t so OCD!
