Restaurant bans children under 5.

I don't begrudge people having their kids in fancy restaurants, or any restaurant really where the kids are being loud. They are kids and that's what kids do. Parents are people too, just a part of sharing the world with others.

I've never had a problem on a plane. I think I am the seat kicker in all honestly. I have a bad knee I can't keep bent too long.

I think this is a great idea for those of us who are tired of paying $$$ for a meal only to have a small child behind you touching your hair and back or kicking your seat, having a temper tantrum because he cannot have his desert first.

Mother at one table fed her baby which promptly threw up afterwards. That killed the meal for everyone around them.

I wish they would do it with some movies shown during the evening. Last time the kid behind me screamed for half an hour because he had to go to the bathroom but neither parent felt like taking him because they would miss that part of the movie. Well, people in my area could not hear it either, thank you.

They have this in Canada. They ave Called VIP and they are 19+. They serve you at your seat and you can order real(ish) food and alcohol. I prefer it only because you prebook your seat, no worrying about getting a good one.

Oh my gosh I want one of these near me! I love movies but hate the theater atmosphere and DH will try to get out of going if possible because he hates it more than me. We always end up with an idiot pushing on the back of my seat or screaming kids. I would imagine this theater cineplex experience is pricey but it might be worth it to enjoy a film. My luck I would get the guy behind me eating chips and chewing with his mouth open. :angryfire:

They have an "adult" movie section @ showcase cinemas near me...They also have a great military discount :)
