So, after waiting patiently since March, I am FINALLY going to be getting my engagement ring
I had already been planning to get a cushion, but after seeing the new OMC's from Good Old Gold I knew they were exactly what I had been looking for. I would have snapped one up right away, but we have been waiting for some money to come in.
Anyway, so I found one I was interested in and reserved it - this was Thursday evening. I immediately emailed Jon with some questions about the diamond.
The next day, I did not hear from Jon, but rather the office assistant with a general "Thanks for reserving the diamond, blah, blah, blah..." which was fine. Obviously he didn't know I had emailed Jon. So I replied back to him to say "Thanks for getting back to me so quick. However, I had emailed Jon as I have some questions about the diamond. If he didn't get the email, can you let me know and I will resend it?"
I know that the weekends are busy, and that they don't work on Sundays and Mondays, but it is now the end of business Tuesday and I still have heard nothing. Is this normal?
I don't want to be annoying or pushy if it is, but I have to admit that I did expect a response by now.
Also, I would call but I don't have a landline and calling to the U.S. with my cell (especially during the day) could get pretty expensive, so I was hoping to have most of the conversations via email.
