Resizing Pave setting

I recently got a BGD Ering. I don't know if I measured wrong in the stores I visited or if BGD made the wrong size. I measured 3 times and can't imagine I was off by this much. I know I didn't want it a tight fitting ring since I garden a lot and want to slip it off and on easily but it seems very lose. I plan on trying to get my ring sized to find out what happened. My mail concern is the pave. It is fishtail pave

I am concerned the pave diamonds will be compromised if resized. Any suggestions on what to do? Any past experiences resizing a pave like this?
TIA

Firstly, you should never wear any rings, especially those with pave, if you are doing anything like gardening, housework, cleaning, etc. Secondly, you would be best off having it resized by Brian Gavin so they can guarantee the work in case any pave falls out.

Agreed with ah lover, please take off your ring while gardening! And send it back to BG for sizing. Dont take it to a mall store or anything like that. It might take longer with transit, but well worth it.

I know to take it off while gardening,I stated that in my first post, that is why I went with a size that would be easily taken off (4.75). The problem is that the diamond is never on the top of my finger because the ring slips back and forth easily. I want to know, will it compromise the the pave badly to get it made smaller. What if BGD mad it the wrong size (5) and then resize it, will this be dangerous to the pave? Or should I forget about it? Or have them remake the whole thing? Will sleeping with it or cooking with it be a problem after resizing? I am worried it will be much more fragile. Or will it only be a little bit compromised, or not at all?

If BG does it, you shouldn't have to worry, but you can certainly email them this inquiriy. IT shouldn't be MORE fragile after they are done with it, though pave is fragile in general.

You can also get sizing beads put in, which will not affect the pave at all.
