resizing an eternity ring?

I guess I want to know how easily it''s done. I was looking at this http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/Tacori-Platinum-3-4ct-TDW-Diamond-Sapphire-Wedding-Ring/2623244/product.html and the smallest they have is 6.25 and I''m a 5.5. Can it be done?

i''m no expert but my guess is no, not that much. some eternity''s can be sized a tiny bit and it would probably be easier to go a bit up than down, but it''s just not recommended much of the time. I have heard of a laser being used for successful sizing, but what it would cost you to have someone do it who would do a super job, you''d probably be better off just buying it in your correct size to begin with.

I have always heard that eternity rings cannot be sized

I saw that beautiful ring yesterday, but no, I agree that you can''t size one that much. I''d buy one that was up to 1/2 size too big and have sizing beads put in. But more than that, I would not try.
