Resetting eternity band?

My mom gave me her old one and I''d like to wear it. However, it''s set in yellow gold and it''s too small. Is it possible to take the stones out and reset it? TIA

unless the diamonds are very high quality and or large i don''t know if it would be cost effective? hopefully someone in the business will see your query.

If they''re .10 each and under, it''s probably cheaper to just buy a new band.

The majority of the cost is in the gold and the labor, not the melee.
