Hey PS :wavey:

I know PS has some miracle dust, so I'm requesting buckets and truckloads of it! I officially mailed out my very first graduate school application today.. and will be mailing out more for the next 3 months. The programs I am applying to are very competitive, so I need all the luck I can get! I darn even kissed my first application today, right before dropping it off at the USPS!

The results come in at the end of March/beginning of April. My birthday is on the 30th of March, so getting into a local program would be my biggest quarter century birthday wish come true! :))

So please please please, all your PS dust!! :wink2:

and a lovely big big BIG thank you to gypsy for helping me with my letter of intent, and pandabee for double-checking everything! :appl:

Sending bucketloads of PS dust your way Madelise!! Good luck!!!!

Good luck! My daughter is about to do the same thing!

Sending you lots of dust! Good luck!

Buckets and buckets of dust for you, M. What an exciting start, sealed with a kiss! :))

sending Dust!!!

Lots of dust! You're going to be great! :)

TONS of DUST madelise!!

But somehow I think you'd do just fine without it ::)

Yikes, edited to say what I meant!

DUST DUST DUST!!! Good luck - with a milestone birthday and a good luck kiss on it - it already seems like the karma surrounding it is favourable!!! Hope you get your first choice for grad school!

Dust and more dust!

Good luck, madelise! Sending acceptance dust your way.

I kiss my important mail before dropping it in the box, too. :)

Thanks to each one of you!! I'm so excited, yet so nervous. I'm happy but scared I'll be let down if I don't get into any programs. I'm applying to 7, and would do more, but gee! The apps take so long to fill out!

Aprilbaby : good luck to your daughter, as well! What type of program is she looking to get into? I hope she's having a smoother time than I am! I have paperwork ALL over! It looks like an episode of hoarders when I spread all my stuff out!

JustGinger : I'm hoping this PS dust works for me as it had for you! Congratulations again and again!

Enerchi : first choice would be great, but I'm desperate, and beggers can't be choosers! My friends that applied last year had 3.9+ and still had slim pickings with schools that accepted. It's been super impacted across the nation, but especially so on the west coast. Hence my total nervousness! Eek! I hope PS and birthday luck helps!! Haha can I write "it's my birthday" on top of all my applications?

Mary Poppins : I'm glad I'm not the only one! I felt quite funny, but like I said, I'm desperate!!

I don't have a bucketload. I only have wholesale amounts. Enough to fill a whole Costco! I'm givin it to ya!!

Good luck, madelise! :wavey: :appl: :appl:

I'm sending tons of bucketloads of PS Dust today. I hope your dream comes true :appl: :wavey:

Lots and lots of dust your way!!!!! I really don't think you'll need it because I can tell you are so passionate about your future profession, but good luck to you all the same!! ::)

Good Luck Madelise!!! I hope you get your number one choice!! Sending lots of good thoughts your way!

Best of luck to you! :wavey:

Thanks for all your kind thoughts, everyone! I have sent out my very last application, and now the waiting period must be endured. This quarter has been quite busy and rough for me, too, so I'm just super wired and anxious at all times. My entire life for the next few years will all be determined on these applications-- from where I live, to how much more debt from loans I will accrue. I got word from one campus that there are approximately 400 students applying this year, and only 15-20 spots per school, so I'm really nervous.

More dust! Good luck!

*throws dustbucket at madelise*

I believe in you!! <3

Major dust your way!!! Can I ask what you're going for? I wish you all the best! :appl:

Good luck, madelise. As I watch you suffer through this process, I am reminded of the song from "Gigi" sung by Maurice Chevalier, "I'm Glad I'm Not Young Anymore"! I hope you get your pick of all your grad schools.

Hugs,
Deb

Good luck love!!!! I know your letter of intent is rockin'

AGBF that is an awesome mix of fairy dust! I hope you have more of that stocked somewhere ;))

Thanks so much. I'm seriously so blessed to have found PS. I have made some wonderful friends along the way that I have confided in, and have gotten a bunch of moral support from. I even have a pal almost across the street! You're all very supporting, and I can't express how much gratitude for how much help I've gotten from PS'ers, about bling, about life, and even with my letters of intention.

AGBF - lol!! That vial reminds me of those other types of diamond dust jewelry people get ripped off into buying. ITS REAL DIAMONDS!!! I always chuckle, stifling the urge to tell people that there's also diamond on their nail file and light bulbs.

04 - I'm applying for graduate school so I can be a SLP one day :))

All the best for this exciting next phase madelise!
I'm sure you'll do great!

PS I love AGBF's fairy dust!

Oh sweetie, I'm sending you all the dust in the world!! I can relate - my daughter has just finished applying to grad schools for SLP too, so I understand what you're feeling and going through...my daughter was a little weepy today due to the stess and just overall uncertainty of the whole thing. Will be keeping you in my thoughts and hoping for a great outcome for you!!!

Dust for you - you can never have too much!
