request for reps

Hello, I''m in the market for a diamond in the 2.8-3.2 carat range with medium values on all of the various parameters. A quick search on pricescope yields mostly hits from USA Certed and James Allen. I see a lot of positive reviews for USA Certed and fewer for James Allen, probably because JA has not been around as long. Is there a general preference between the two vendors, or are both good to deal with? Also, the names of any reps for either or both USA and James Allen would be greatly appreciated. I''ve seen recommendations for certain reps on older posts but I understand that, with the passage of time, employees leave jobs and switch companies. Thanks so much.

Hi Jason,

Both vendors have a good reputation here. James Allen have some in house diamonds and can supply Idealscope images on request, I am not sure if USACerted can supply additional images which we find very helpful for judging diamonds for cut.

I believe the main POC at USACerted is Martin Sheffield, James Allen - many posters have dealt with Josh or Darin.
