Replica Tiffany settings are easy enough to find, but are there any replica Leons?

So, in my many months lurking and posting here, I have seen many Leon Mege settings that set the heart a-flutter due to the dainty, non-intrusive claws--I will want as much light to be able to get into the stone as possible. I would LOVE to have something like that for my ring, but I know budget-wise Leon is not an option, and I''m probably looking at a max size of 1 carat, so I don''t even think he would be an option if we found out he was within budget (he only works with larger stones, doesn''t he?).

So, my question (and I apologize if it has been asked before) is, do you know of anyone whose style is similar?

Here are some pictures to show you what I''m after...

And, the side view...

Thanks, and again I'm sorry if this has been asked before!

Leon DOES work with smaller stones; he just will not work with people who want smaller stones in ornate designs that will overwhelm the centerstone or do things that just look odd with smaller stones. Others can try to mimic his style but they don't even come close to acheiving that delicate claw look without compromising the safety of the setting or diamond. Also, by the time you pay another designer to duplicate this look, you are probably paying close to what Leon charges anyway, so just give him a call and ask. What's the worst he can say - no?

Fair enough, and I certainly will call and ask when it comes time to actually go through this. I''m just a back-up plan kind of chick and wanted to know if anyone did something similar in case the Leon wasn''t an option. Thanks for the reply, Chrono!

I once tried to emulate the double claw look. The setting was well made but it didn't even come close to achieving that "set your heart palpatating" look. With what I paid, I really should have gone to Leon directly. Well, since I am upgrading the diamond in that ring, I'll be sure to go with Leon right from the start this time.

IMO leon is the discount/replica guy (which he would hate because he won''t copy other designers but still) when compared to Harry winston who is the only other person to do those claw prong right IMO. Leon is less expensive than most designers of equal quality and just worth it and I''m pretty sure his solitaire runs in the $1300 range which really isn''t much more than any stock platinum solitaire out there. if it''s leon you love, to me it''s not out of the question to save the couple hundred extra and just get it. a knock off, if there was one just won''t be the same...
