The only way to tell is to get it appraised.
There is a list of independant appraisers linked at the top of the forum.

Low retail replacement value can be readily found by doing a Pricescope search for a diamond with similar quality, shape and weight to the one you have. It may not be perfectly accurate, but in round numbers, it ought to be pretty close. The value of the same diamond offered to you in a B&M store may be higher as there are greater costs involved with operating a full service store. Some B&M stores will come close to matching the price of diamonds sold on the Internet and others choose not to compete on price alone.
It might be compared to deciding on a "take-out" dinner or eating virtually identical food in a full service restaurant. There is always a higher cost for the service and facilities provided in a restaurant which is reflected in the price of the food when you get the bill.
