Hi all,

I''m trying to find something to wear to my rehearsal dinner and came across this new JCrew dress. I''m looking for something either all orange or with orange in the pattern, and this fits the bill. But I can''t decide...part of me loves it, and part of me thinks it looks like a retro garment bag. Any opinions? Is it too casual for even a small and informal rehearsal dinner?

Thanks!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

So I'm clearly no help. I think it's fabulous. Would look terrible on me (I need things very tailored at the waist) but I think if the STYLE works for your figure, it's perfect.

I saw that in the store this past weekend - I was really drawn to the pattern (LOVE IT) but it didn''t fit particularly well. I''ve got a decent-sized chest, and it just kind of hung like a big sack on me - I think something more tailored looks better, even if it''s an empire waist. But, the pattern and colors are lovely, and the material is quite nice!

Love it, may have to go check it out myself! Although its not something I believe will work for my figure, either. Eh, I work in retail, so J. Crew is just downstairs...

I think it''s really cute, and love the idea of wearing something unique in a fun color for your rehearsal dinner! When is your wedding? I don''t think the dress is too casual, but it could be a bit too warm during the summer months. Bluefly has some cute orange dresses right now...

I think the JCrew one is great though!! Might be the kind of dress that is good to try on first, however....

Thanks, ladies. I think I''ll go ahead and order it. Luckily, JCrew has a good return policy, so I can always send it back if it ends up looking like a big bohemian tent. The wedding is at the end of May, so the clock is ticking. I think I own two dresses total (including my wedding dress), so I have no idea where to look. Neiman''s has a ton of dresses, and Anthopologie is great too, but their stuff is less formal. I tried on an orange silk top at Banana Republic yesterday that would have been perfect with a black skirt, but they didn''t have it in my size and couldn''t find it at any other stores.

Any other ideas for orange dresses/tops?

Hey! How are you? Did you buy this dress from J.Crew yet, it is now on sale!

Love it! I think it would look great with some gold accessories (shoes, maybe some crazy earrings or even a big ole chunky gold necklace)

I love it. I don''t know if you bought it already but it is now on sale! $70 cheaper.
