Registries in Canada?

Our canadian friends say they can''t purchase gifts online via Bloomingdales''s or Macy''s... only for those within the USA. Has anyone else found this problem? What stores do brides register at in Canada/ Quebec?

I''m no expert but I''m pretty sure big department stores like Sears and The Bay offer registries.

You can with Macy's (I haven't tried with Bloomie's). You just have to call them up and make the purchase over the phone. I've done it before and I'm in Canada.

ETA: Registries in Canada that are also in the US:

- Bed, Bath and Beyond
- Crate and Barrel

Other registries in Canada:
- The Bay
- William Ashley (which is only fine china and the likes)

Sears doesn't have a registry in Canada anymore, from what I hear.

You are correct! Sears no longer does registries.

I am from the Prairies of Canada, so things are a lot different out here. Our registries are from The Bay and Home Outfitters.

I think they haven''t updated their website. It was in the news when they closed it down. Eh, Sears sucks anyways!
