I'm thinking try to get as close to 2CTW, without hitting the mark and the price jump.

This is an I/VS2 with a 1.3 HCA for $19,450... I'd most definitely have them put it on hold!

Here is another option HCA of 1.5, basically going to look like 8mms at 7.9mm - 1.935 I SI1 you are saving a bit because it comes in just under 2.00 carats without losing much visual face up size, for the bank wire price of $18249.00 - he will also give a discount on a beautiful setting if he purchases both from him and has an upgrade policy now as well;

Very nice! OP, if your nephew can budget for a VC setting, buying both from one vendor would be ideal.
