Hi all,
I am a newbie here but have been reading a lot!
Thank you to everyone for all your posts... I have learnt so much
FI proposed 6 months ago with my grandmothers ring... and I love it! But it was old, didn't fit and wouldn't have stood the test of time.
So in my crazy excited state of mind, I took it to a jewellers and asked him to create a simple solitaire from it.
Not very happy with my result unfortunately.
There is a lot of platinum, so it is very chunky (I like the weight but have stompy fingers)!
When trying wedding bands I noticed it didn't sit flush. I also hope to get an eternity band at some point so would need that to sit flush also.
.5 carat F I2 (Some may say the spec isn't great, but the carbon gives it character and it is so sentimental)
Has anyone redesigned their ering into a wedfit style?
Or does anyone have a wedfit style they can send pics of?
