recreating tiffany round-brilliant 3 stone ring

For our 10th anniversary I get to buy my loooong-awaited dream ring -- Tiffany round-brilliant 3 stone ring, except I''m gagging on the Tiffany mark-up. So I''d like to recreate the ring. Thought I''d buy the diamonds on Bluenile and while they have a setting that comes close, it does not allow me to have the stone sizes I want -- 2 carat middle stone and 1 carat stone on each side. So am looking for suggestions on where to get a platinum setting and for comfort that Bluenile is a decent place to buy just the diamonds. What I like about the Tiffany setting besides the stone proportion of the sides equaling the center stone''s carat weight is that the diamonds sit low in the basket and are all on a similar plane (no bump up for the middle diamond). I am planning on ideal cut/F-G/VVS diamonds. Regards.

I''m in the same situation! It''s our 10th this year too. I had a center that I am going to use, then I bought the sides from Whiteflash. They have a 3-stone like Tiffs, but you can always tweak it to suit you. Here''s a small pic. They have great stones too. whiteflash.com.

We just celebrated our 10th anniversary in May, and I had a three stone made! Though mine is not nearly as big as you are looking to get, lol. Congratulations! I have heard wonderful things about Whiteflash.

I have WF 3 stone ring setting and I love it. I had them tweek it a little to what I want. If you get the stones from their ACA selection, you can always upgrade them.
