I''m no help cause I didn''t even realize that you have to have songs for all of that stuff

It''s been hard enough tring to figure out our first dance song let alone songs for cake cutting, etc...Wow!

Looking forward to hearing some helpful responses...

We didn''t do any announcing... we came into the reception and went straight into the first dance.

Cake Cutting Song

''Grow Old With You'' by Adam Sandler. We got a lot of awwwws for this one (the Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore pairing is a "thing" for us with our friends).

Bridal Party Dance - not sure if I''ll do this

I guess (back in the day) - they used to do a bridal party dance, where all bridesmaids and groomsman - and new DH and Wife dance to a slow song.
I dont think I''ll do this as it may make some people in the wedding party uncomfortable.

I had the Adam Sandler song on my list for the cake cutting! so cute!

I''ll combine the bridal party announcement and our announcement into one song, "A Little Respect" by Erasure (it''s a bit of an inside joke with us).

Cake cutting will probably be "Don''t Stop Believing" by Journey, but I''m also considering "I''m Yours" by Jason Mraz.

Not doing a bridal party dance. Good luck with your choices!

I don''t have my songs yet, so I can''t make much of a contribution here, but I wanted to add something to the bridal party dance convo.

I want to have some kind of dance with myself and FI, our parents, and our bridal party. However, our bridal party will dance with their dates (might not work out if one of them doesn''t have a date ... but I haven''t thought that far ahead

). Anyway, if you have a small bridal party (mine is 2 on each side) you could just let them dance with their dates.
