I have been perusing Pricescope for some time and have loved looking at all the beautifule jewelry and reading the stories. I wanted to share my new engagement ring and a little bit about us. I met may fiance online on eHarmony a couple of months before he went to Iraq in 2006. Throughout the 15 months, we kept in contact every week. He has been there for me through everything. I lost my dad in May 2007 and my mom February 8, 2009 (my birthday was the 6th and her''s was the 9th). My fiance proposed to me April 19th, five days before he left for Iraq again. I had only dreamed about finding someone that loves me as much as I love him. My world is at peace and whole when I am with him. I was married before in 1993 for about 10 years and I wish I could have met him before I was married but I have him now. I really didn''t believe in soul mates but I do now and am thankful every day for the love and happiness I have now. My fiance was bound and determined to give me at least a one carat diamond. It took me a long time to talk him down. Through my perusal here, I went to Whiteflash (Bob Hoskins) for the diamond. We narrowed it down to three to choose from (two were a little over 1 carat and the other was .90). I personally liked the .90 and that is the one my fiance bought and it is just georgeous. The ring is courtesy of Simon G with a little custom work on it. As I love rose gold, my fiance requested the open work on the side, particularly the two hearts, be in rose gold. I love my ring and diamond but I love my fiance even more. Sometimes I feel like I have a big flashing neon sign on my finger and get stopped frequently for the uniqueness of the ring. I hope these images are okay because I have a digital camera that is about 5 years old and only 4 megapixels.
