Hi all
Firsts i'd like to report that I have received the I SI1 stone that your all recently helped me purchase. The diamond is just gorgeous! It blings like crazy in ALL lighting. There are 3 inclusions - 2 crystals right under the table that are impossible to find without the loupe and a tiny feather under a star facet that I still can't locate
. The size is impressive too. I worried that it would be too big but got over that after 3 seconds. Haven't yet seen the effect of the medium blue but I'm hopeful that it will help. I do notice the tint right away. It's actually at face up position that I notice that it is different from what I'm used to. (I've been wearing a smaller F for years). Having said that, color is a trade off for the size so no complaint for overall, i think its a great buy. I can't be happier.
Now on to the setting
. I like the simple classic look of 6 prong solitaire and am considering ultra thin claw prongs that really showcase the diamond. But i'm nervous about chipping the diamond, or it slipping out accidentally. so id like to ask you experts, in terms of setting, what are the few things that I should take into consideration if I want to minimize chances of chipping or losing the diamond?
Thank you for your time!
