I know this subject comes up a lot, and many people (including myself) have made great recommendations in the past. Just thought I''d add this one, as it works SO well and is also really gentle:
I was using Alterna caviar shampoo on my hair, and found that it gets my diamonds REALLY clean. They come out beautifully clean and sparkly just from washing my hair. I switched shampoos (to change it up for my hair) and was using Windex and or my ultrasonic on my rings (also good but sometimes it wasn''t getting them as clean as I''d like). I used the shampoo again with a baby toothbrush last night, and they are just so clean and sparkly, that I thought I should pass this on as a great, gentle, easy way to clean those diamonds!!!
