$7,358

I am new at this and i know the 4c''s aren''t everything but i was wondering what some people with more experience thought of these options- specifically if i should be looking for different table/depth percentages or diamond measurements. All come with GIA reports. Also, i am slightly worried about the I color grade being a bit too yellow. Do you guys recommend getting a higher color (G, H) and maybe a VS2 instead of VS1 or am I ok with I color? Any advice is appreciated and i am sorry for the rather long post. If it makes any difference i plan to set the diamond in a classic 6 prong tiffany style platinum setting locally. Thanks again for the guidance.

Out of the 3, #1 is the most promising but still requires an idealscope image to confirm if it has good light return or not.

Definitely considering going down to VS2 or even SI1 if the vendor says it is eye-clean.

thanks for the help stone-cold... i really appreciate it. should i be worried about the I color grade? i.e. is it worth my while to just step up to the plate and get something H or better? i guess i have heard mixed opinions on this and some people have said I most likely wouldn''t be able to tell the difference between I and H or G... thanks again.

G and I might be a slight difference to some eyes, H and G I wouldn't think so. An I is still a very white diamond, it is the colour grade where some in the trade think the average person might detect a slight hint of warmth from the side, see if you can view some I colour or other colour grades in person if you are unsure, see if there is a Jareds closeby and look at their AGS0 Peerless diamonds.

I prefer the first diamond too, the other two are what we call steep deep angled stones, these normally will show light leakage ( leakage is the ' enemy').

Face up and mounted in a setting, it will be difficult to tell them apart especially not in a side by side comparison. Unless you/your gf is very color sensitive, everyone differs.
