I think it's cool looking...

ETA: I think it's cool that the inclusions are all white. It's basically opaque, but it's not salt and pepper. I'd buy it.

Well it's EGL certified so bid with confidence.

How could they even determine a body color when the stone is opaque?

I have an EGL fancy yellow I'm confident about the grading on and I think they often given an unfairly bad rap here (EGL USA I mean) but this is certainly not helping their case. The issue seems to be not just to expect 1-2 grades off (Fine IMO as long as bought with caveat emptor) but the fact that their various affiliated agencies are all over the map and willing to give a report to anything that dings as MOHS 10.

I like that they compare it to Zales. And to a ring at Zales for $5,500. That's awesome.

I'd buy it for $32 though...

Between its industrial applications and the gold, it could be a bargain at $32.

That made me LOL when I saw it. It's not bad for $32....but the thought of someone using that as an ENGAGEMENT ring...that's what gets me...I'd rather have a ruby or a sapphire!

$17 each! I keep the spit, you keep the prongs! Come on! What a deal! And we will save a woman from the fate of being presented this thing.

Cz is more pricey at the mall than this.

You know what it reminds me of? Those chunks of white quartz that I used to find as a kid. The ones that were white and if you broke into them, the inside looked like it was made of white glitter...

Her identity has been concealed for her protection but that's my suspicion also.

Bean, Lock up your electronics before you take the lunesta! I do love reading your exploits though. Just don't spend too much.

The first ring is now up to $255. Too rich for my blood.
