The ring will be a solitaire diamond on a platinum band (still deciding on pave). I want the diamond to be perfect to the naked eye and SPARKLE in the light.
I was hoping to achieve this while spending less than $10k on the diamond ($8 would be great).

Thoughts on the two options below before I buy one?
Any advice on my purchase is much appreciated... I'm meticulous and sometimes over obsess on the details.

For any SI1 stone, you should confirm with the vendor that it is truly eye clean and at what distance. In other words, that you cannot see the inclusions with your naked eye.

If both are eye clean, I definitely like stone number 2 better than number 1. I like the inclusions better on stone 2 and that there is no fluorescence and I like the numbers better as well.

You can request an IS and ASET on it if you're serious about it. Post the images and we can help interpret for you.

Ask JA for idealscope images for these (you can request up to 3, so pick one more stone you may be interested in). You really need to see the light performance images before buying if you are that concerned about "perfection and sparkle". That said, I like the numbers on the 2nd stone. Nice fat arrows for good fire and no glaring inclusions as well.

Thank you for the recommendation.
I did just that but the diamond was sold today.
Moving forward I will request the ideal scope.
