Reading Lists, Web Site, Mommy Groups

When you were TTC or after you found out you were pregnant, where did you turn to for the best information? Do you have a go-to web site? Are you apart of any mailing list? Did you sign up for specific magazines? I would love to know a starting place, as I just love to research and stockpile info!

Google and PS were probably my biggest resources I did do a little research about mom groups that were near me (which I'm still a part of), but I honestly didn't read any baby or pregnancy books until I was pregnant.

I read Take Charge of Your Fertility and tracked my ovulation (temping and using OPKs) for at least 6 months before we actually TTCed, so I mostly poured my energy into that. I was ready to have a baby before my husband was ready, so charting was my way of feeling like I was doing something to prepare me for TTC while I waited for him to come around.

I am all over TCOYF, which is an awesome book! I'm definitely not ready to research Mommy groups in my area, but would love some information on top web site and things that you check out for tips, if you have any in mind besides PS. This section of the forum has been fabulous though! I learned about TCOYF from here!

I agree with NEL that I got nearly everything I needed from TCOYF, PS moms, and Google. Most of the resources I needed were for after the baby was born.
